A PERFECT MURDER Declares 'War'

January 8, 2007

Victory Records thrash-metal masters A PERFECT MURDER are about to entire the recording studio to cut their third album, to be called "War of Aggression". This time around, lead guitarist Carl Bouchard, singer Kevin Randel and drummer Yan Chausse are being joined by new members Kyrill Ducharme on guitar and bassist Francois Michel Labrie.

Bouchard has already written 14 songs for the new album, 11 of which will make the final cut on the new CD. He describes the new material as being "more structured and well-balanced. It'll be a mix between 'Strength through Vengeance' and 'Unbroken'," Bouchard says. "Having more experience as a performer has certainly impacted my songwriting, but just growing up as a person has helped create a more mature sound in the band."

Once again they will be working with Pierre Rémillard at Wild studio in St-Zénon, nestled deep in the forests of northern Quebec. "Pierre is still the man behind the monster," Bouchard declares. "As I said before, Pierre is our Bob Rock, but this time he'll be producing, recording, mixing and mastering. That's a big deal!"

A PERFECT MURDER will officially enter the studio on January 29; they should be done by mid-March. "War of Aggression" is expected to be released worldwide on June 12.
